New 2009/2010 Bus Registration PDF Print
Department News
Exciting changes are in store for student bus registration in the 2009/20010 school year. As long as address information is up to date and there has not been a school attendance or zone change, there will be no need to fill out extra forms or spend time on the phone! The Clark County School District is automating bus registration. Now, when students register for school, they may register for bus transportation with one simple check mark. August 1, 2009, starts the nightly electronic up dates of student information into the Transportation Department’s routing and scheduling program. This routing and scheduling program determines student transportation eligibility, assigns eligible students bus stops, and notifies parents.

The Transportation Department identified eligible students currently registered for bus transportation and coded them to receive transportation for the 2009/20010 school year. These students do not need to register for bus transportation for the 2009/2010 school year.  Students who have moved or changed schools need to complete either an Update Information Sheet or CCF-705 form at their school requesting transportation service for the 2009/2010 school year. Eligible students will be assigned a bus stop and receive an e-mail or letter with their transportation information. Non-eligible students will receive an e-mail, phone call, or letter informing them they are not eligible for school bus transportation.

The Transportation Department’s web page will be updated as of August 1, 2009.  Before this date you still have the ability to check transportation eligibility and bus stop information for the 2008/2009 school year.
